Typically, churches manage a volunteer or paid staff to manually enter contribution information in to their church management applications. The process is slow, error-prone and the mundane process is definitely not the best use of the churches valuable resources, even if the church is blessed to have enough volunteers. Tempo provides a service that enables the church to completely eliminate the need for data entry, while providing them with searchable digital images of their contribution forms. The contribution forms are scanned by the church or Tempo, uploaded to their secure space on the Tempo website, and the next day the data is returned in a format that can be automatically uploaded to the church management application. This means that churches can easily collect the valuable information on their contribution forms, including visitor information, and get statements out on time.
